Joy Dawe Named Director of Compliance

Cleveland – May 13, 2008 – Life Settlement Insights (LSI), the Cleveland based life settlement broker, announced today that Joy Dawe is joining the firm as its Director of Compliance.

Ms. Dawe will be responsible for ensuring the company’s adherence to state and federal regulations, with particular attention to licensing and reporting requirements. She will also direct LSI's internal audit functions.

"Joy will be a tremendous resource as the industry continues to grow and as regulatory obligations evolve, “said LSI Executive Vice President Cynthia Poveda. "With more than twelve years of compliance experience and nearly 20 years in the insurance business, she will be a great asset to LSI."

Most recently, Ms. Dawe operated an independent consulting company, serving clients in insurance and related industries. Previously, she was First Vice President, Regulatory Compliance at Ceres Group Incorporated, a consortium of insurance companies based in Strongsville, Ohio. Before joining Ceres, Ms. Dawe was Claims and Compliance Manager at Family Heritage Life Insurance.

Ms.  Dawe holds an MBA from Baldwin Wallace College and a BS in business administration from Bowling Green State University.
