Linda Silverman retired from the US Department of Energy in 2018 after thirty years working on clean energy and climate change. She brings a range of work experiences: commodities trading in the World Trade Center in New York City, international climate change negotiations as part of the U.S. negotiating team to the UN Framework on Climate Change, domestic climate change policy, renewable energy market analysis, natural gas policy, US trade policy, workforce development and education, local government climate action and finally as Director of the US Department of Energy’s Solar Decathlon.
